We’re back at the Yard this Summer to launch a set of special readings with them into the Autumn. A fresh crop of boys get their kit off of a Sunday in August. Help us cast the 6th season of Naked Boys Reading!
BOYS, BOOKS, BOOZE! What more could you want?
A lover is a sexual or romantic partner outside of normative marriage, or a person who enjoys a specific thing. We love literature (and naked boys) and we could really use a new lover. So cum and help us out, won’t you, Lover?!
Our auditionees will be reading selections from Roland Barthes’ 1977 A Lover’s Discourse. Barthes’ offers as a means of introduction that he does not aim to analyse the discourse of love, but to utter it – to allow us to hear him speak it aloud to us. We thought we’d help him out by getting around 8-10 naked men to do that job for him. FUCKING YAS!
The audition will be ideal for anyone who has been in love, lost love, would like to love, love’s post-structuralism, loves French men who have died after being hit by a laundry van, or anyone who likes boys, books, booze, and Sundays.
Hope you can cum!
